Rage Against The Machine

So, obviously this campaign is all a bit silly etc, but it's loads of fun anyway isn't it? I can't remember caring about the Christmas number 1 for a long time, and although I still don't, it's all worth it for moments like this.

Here is Rage Against The Machine in a radio interview on UK BBC station Radio 5. Listen to the end for the inevitable "GET RID OF IT" as RATM prove, once again, that they just will not do what you tell them.

The Muppets Cover Queen

This has been all over the internet recently, but just in case you haven't seen it - here's the Muppets version of Bohemian Rhapsody.  Absolutely brilliant.

Rarest Beatles album ever?

So someone might have found a record that is worth almost as much as all those re-issues The Beatles put out recently - a Sgt Pepper's album with customised sleeve for Capitol Records execs.

Every single one of the faces has been replaced by someone elses, with the fab four replaced by the faces of the top men at Capitol.
I wonder when Eagle will do a special edition with my face on it?

Windows 7 launch party!!!!! YYYEEEEEAAAAHHHHHH

Well, hope you're all getting ready for your mighty Windows 7 launch party!
Check out Microsoft's official launch video here:

If this isn't the most painful corporate attempt to "get down with the kids" in recent memory then I'd love to see you try and better it.

Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives of Henry VIII

OK.
So Rick Wakeman finally performed his concept album "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" live.
Now, whilst this isn't strictly my idea of fun, I'm told it was absolutely incredible by those in the know.  Anyway, judge for yourself - here's a few videos of the night itself from the Eagle Rock DVD of the same name.

1st!!!!

So this is the new Eagle Rock blog then.  I think the first thing I'm going to do is post some videos - since that's basically what Eagle Rock does.
First off, here's a collection of videos from our Monty Python film - Almost the Truth (The Lawyer's Cut)
